About

Reach Youth Ministry recruits, trains and supports young adult ministry teams. Reach Teams provide youth retreats, youth group nights, youth rallies and youth conference support. Teams are made up of faithful and dynamic young adult Catholics (18-28).

Reach Teams collaborate with youth ministers, directors of religious education, pastors, volunteers or another parish or area delegate. This collaboration is key in working to engage the real time needs of young people and to serve the vision for youth ministry in the parish, deanery or diocese.

Reach Team volunteers pray, live and work together in a strong community of faith. It’s a mission that changes the hearts and lives of team members and the young people they serve.

Teams engage young people in small group discussion, one on one conversation, personal faith sharing, drama, music, activities and as examples of joyful young adults committed to Christ.

Reach Team Volunteers engage in 5 weeks of training which includes personal and team faith formation, evangelization, best youth ministry practices and team dynamics. All team members participate in safe environment training and undergo background checks according to diocesan standards.

Reach Youth Ministry is a non-profit, charitable organization, founded in 1976 and rooted in the Roman Catholic Church. First located in Yakima, WA Reach is now headquartered in Helena, MT.

Elizabeth Heard – Youth Minister

“Reach Youth Ministry is a great organization to work with.  They conduct themselves professionally when setting up retreats.  They work with you and help you plan your experience.  They give you some great options for scripture and message, but they don’t stop there.  They add to the experience with the telling of their lives.  They share themselves and their experiences.  These young adults show courage and conviction of faith.  It is an honor to have them share themselves with youth.”
