From Our Mission Statement

“Reach Team Members are young adults (18-30) who are authentic in their life of faith, support one another in Christian Community and have a passion to evangelize young people.”

Who Serves on Reach Teams?

Young adults who serve come from various backgrounds. It could be Youth Ministry, Econonmics, Engineering, taking a break from college or sometimes serving before college begins.

What does the ‘Reach Year’ look like?

August - Training begins late in August and runs about 5 weeks with some time set aside for camping, hiking, spelunking, rafting, maybe some fly fishing, and well, it’s Montana – you get the picture.

October - Retreats begin!

December – we break for Christmas (about 2 weeks) and everyone heads for home.

January - we pick it back up.

May – our three teams have evangelized about 10,000, driven about 90,000 miles and we’re done!

What about money?

It takes about $10,000.00 to keep a Reach Member going for the year. Each Team Member is only expected to raise $4250.00. People see clearly the value in investing faith in our youth and Team Members’ home parishes/communities are always both generous and proud to support them.

What’s it like each day on a Reach Team?

Morning Mass, personal prayer, driving, team prayer, prepping and honing retreat skills, driving, sight seeing, spending time w/ host families, driving, meeting amazing Catholic people all over the country, driving, napping and, of course, leading youth retreats nearly every weekend.
